The New Wine Hub in Leicester operates from HTL (Holy Trinity Leicester) Church, a large city centre church in the New Wine network that coordinates regional New Wine events.
Teaching (1 day/wk)
Teaching happens weekly on Tuesdays. It starts with devotional time and includes New Wine teaching.
Placements (30hrs/wk)
Placements are offered at HTL Church and several other churches in and around Leicester. Specific ministry opportunities available at HTL include youth & children’s work, worship, student & young adult ministry and the Compassion ministries. General placements are also available.
Cost
Food, accommodation, and New Wine fees are paid for. Students also receive a small weekly allowance towards basics living costs but may need to seek some additional support from friends and family. In Leicester, the New Wine Discipleship Year runs in partnership with the Church of England Ministry Experience Scheme, which part funds places.
Accommodation
Students will be accommodated with a host family or a shared house. Students who live together will share meals and house chores.
