Introduction to KXC
King’s Cross Church (KXC) is an Anglican church that was launched in 2010 to engage with the opportunities created by the King’s Cross redevelopment and the existing communities living in this incredible area of London.
The vision of KXC is to bring social, spiritual and physical transformation to those who live, work and pass through King’s Cross. King’s Cross has a fast-emerging business, arts, residential and student community, as well as pockets of significant deprivation on the surrounding estates. We are seeking to connect with these different communities, build bridges between them, and proclaim and demonstrate God’s love to them.
This means that although the church is made up of people who live and work all over London, it is marked by a deep commitment to the King’s Cross area.
Our prayer is that the we develop a growing heart for the area and a passion for participating in its transformation. KXC meets as a church in King’s Cross each Sunday. Our services are open to the local community and the average attendance throughout 2019 has been around 600 people each week.
