Team Rector. It assumes the normal expectations for a minister of the gospel who is person of integrity as expressed in the Scriptures, empowered and guided by the Holy Spirit, prayerful and biblically literate, with good communication skills and an ability to relate to different types and ages of people. We would especially welcome: • An able teacher and expositor of the Scriptures. • Someone with a leadership style which is collaborative with ordained and lay colleagues and with other faith leaders, and which enables people to live out their faith as God calls them to do. • Someone who will train and encourage others and delegate as appropriate. • A commitment to innovative ministry within and outside the church. • A passion for reaching people with the good news of Jesus and a desire to encourage the congregations towards mission and outreach. • A vision for how the church can serve its community • Strong pastoral skills showing empathy in the experiences of others. • A commitment to local ecumenism. • Experience in line managing staff.
