Youth & Community Pastor

St Peter's Church Lawrence Weston and St Andrew's Avonmouth, Bristol

Full-time, 4yr fixed term (due to funding limitations)

£27,000-£30,000pa dependent on experience

We are looking for an engaging, passionate, creative leader with a heart for young people and the wider community to be transformed by Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit, and equipped to serve him in growing the kingdom.

St Peter’s is an Anglican church that serves alongside St Andrew’s Avonmouth, together they have a vision to grow the Kingdom across Avonmouth & Lawrence Weston.  Situated in an urban priority area in North West Bristol, St Peter’s are part Bristol Dioceses Priority Community Network. They are also affiliated to the New Wine Network.

The Youth and Community Pastor is a new role created to encourage, enable and grow Christ centered discipleship, mission & evangelism with young people in the church & wider Lawrence Weston community – with a particular focus on connecting with young people aged 9-13yrs old and their families. You will be part of a small supportive staff team and a committed team of volunteers.

We’re offering a salary of £27,000-£30,000 (dependent on experience), a pension and a flexible working week (which will include Sundays, some weekday evenings and Saturdays). Part time working would be considered (minimum 0.75FTE).
