Description of Job
Unique leadership role focusing on intergenerational worship and ministry.
Key focus: Growing and releasing individuals into leadership within worship and ministry teams.
Church model: Strong intergenerational emphasis—creating space for learning and growth across age groups.
Main responsibilities:
- Developing the church’s intergenerational worship model across Sunday and midweek settings.
- Equipping and empowering the church body to use their gifts in worship and discipleship.
- Working collaboratively with clergy, worship leaders, and ministry teams.
- Overseeing vision and strategy, ensuring it is people-focused and inclusive.
- Growing and developing the worship and production team across 5 congregations.
- Raising up younger worship leaders and creating opportunities for spiritual and practical growth.
- Supporting the development of audio-visual equipment and teams.
Context:
- Church has recently undergone significant changes (building moves, pandemic, church planting and a new worship space).
- No employed worship leader for over 2 years—team is eager for leadership and renewal.
Ideal candidate:
- Strong interpersonal skills across generations.
- Passion for engaging younger generations in worship, music, and production.
- Ability to balance big-picture vision with hands-on priorities.
- Open to additional strengths, e.g., digital media, student ministry, or prayer.
