Youth Worker: Projects Lead (Maternity Cover)
An exciting opportunity to join the Blank Canvas team working with young people in Redcar.
We are seeking to recruit a Youth Worker to take a lead role in three exciting areas:
Compass Programme, St Hilda’s Youth Club and YAFA (Youth and Families Advocacy) Programme.
In this role you will have the opportunity to see transformation in the lives of some of Redcar's most at risk and disengaged young people, equipping them with practical tools to break destructive patterns, a safe space in which to be listened to, and an empowering boost to their self-esteem.

Location: Redcar
Salary: £15,550 - £17,146 per annum
(£24,297 - £27,212 pro-rata)
Hours: 24 hours per week
(open to exploring less hours)
Start Date: June 2025
Contract: Fixed term until June 2026
Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays
(pro rata for part-time)
