We are a church in Woodley, Berkshire looking for a new minister. We are a Baptist Church, and we are open to applications from those on the Register of BUGB Accredited Ministers and those who are happy to minister within a Baptist context.
Our Minister will enthuse us and enable us to be a vibrant, Spirit-filled church with an impact on our community. They will help us build on the contacts we have with many people of all ages each week and help us encourage them to become disciples of Jesus Christ.
We want a Minister who will lead with integrity and sensitivity, who is unashamedly Bible-based and Christ-centred, to equip and support us as together we seek to work out our mission statement - United in Knowing Jesus and Making Him Known. While we have both men and women in leadership and ministry roles within the church, we are looking for a male Minister.
A stipend that aligns with the Minister's needs will be provided, along with a manse or other suitable accommodation.

Woodley Baptist Church
We are a small to medium-sized Baptist Church located in Woodley, Berkshire, surrounded by residential homes, a doctor's surgery, and several shops. Our passion is to help people come to know Jesus and live empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Situated on the outskirts of Reading, we benefit from good links to the surrounding areas. Our large building features many rooms that we rent out for various purposes. This includes The Venue, which is a purpose-built Youth Facility.
Currently, we have two staff members a Youth and Children's Worker and an Office Manager. Our activities can be viewed on our website.
Recently, we have also started hosting a Romanian congregation that meets in our building on Sunday afternoons.
