Youth Outreach and Families Pastor OR Trainee Youth Evangelist

Join our Youth and Families Team

We are looking for either a fully qualified Youth Outreach and Families Pastor to enable our intergenerational ministry, or a Part-Time Trainee Youth Evangelist, or something in between!

Either you'll be trained, experienced and ready to supervise a team (of staff and volunteers), or keen to grow into someone who can. Our last youth pastor began as a part-time worker 7 years ago while doing an MA in leaderhsip at St Mellitus College and developed a full-time role in many exciting ways, initially working with the Diocese on our 'Youth Minster' project and most recently focusing on our church intergenerational ministry as well as youth work.

We have a great staff team and systems in place if you's like to come and learn on the job, or a bigger role if you're an entrepreneurial pastor who can dream with us how to extend the families and youth ministry and want to take that on. If you think you're somewhere in between we would also love to hear from you.

Hours and Remuneration

• Full-time role: 37.5 hours a week.
• £31,000-£36,000 - salary per annum dependent on experience.
• Parti-time/training roles: at least 24 hours a week, pay according to experience and qualifications.

Accommodation

We are sometimes able to help link people to places to rent nearby eg. with church families. People can sometime find fabulous accommodation through the Christian Flat Share site - please ask if finding accommodation poses a problem and whist we can't promise a solution we have often been able to help people.
