Vision
We want to see every church up and down the UK worshipping in spirit and in truth. Worship leaders and teams who minister in the power of the Holy Spirit, on stage and off, 365 days a year.
We want to see the Church in the UK singing songs birthed out of the local church from and for the nation. World class songs that shake the ground and shape the atmosphere to be a place of praise, intimacy, joy and worship.
We want to see creativity rise and gifting released that shakes the status quo. Songs, art, dance, media and more that reveals the mystery, wonder and beauty of who God is.
We want to see disciples pursuing deep intimacy with Jesus and consistent growth in prayer, study and the secret place.
Character above competency
Prayer above pride
Surrender above songs
Transformation above talent
Jesus above everything
Strategy
Joe Hardy is the Head of Worship at New Wine and is building worship hubs in each region. The aim is to meet monthly to invest in seven people in each region. These seven will then invest in another seven in their locality. The dream is that, in time, this continues to multiply on a local level, raising up leaders through relationship. We aim to see more regional gatherings and, more importantly, to build ongoing relationships.
Events
The NWW hub leaders meet annually to worship, pray, share stories and encourage one another. We also gather NWW hubs annually for regional conferences. All worship events will be focussed on building relationships to support the overall vision and serve the local church beyond the event.
At the summer festivals we run worship breakouts covering the theology of worship, NWW vision and values and key practices in the local church. We also gather leaders to pray, encourage each other and share what God is doing.
We will be limiting the number of ‘guest’ worship leaders at the summer festivals to give space for our own family to serve, grow and be invested in. This may mean it’s not as ‘polished’, but we’re committed to raising up younger leaders.
Resources
In the future we are aiming to develop an online forum to discuss vision, values and theology, as well as provide space to share songs that are serving the local church from within the NWW family.
