Igniting Faith, Restoring Lives
Church Army’s mission is rooted in the heart of Jesus’s ministry: to seek and save the lost. We believe in taking the Good News beyond the walls of the church, meeting people where they are, in the messiness and reality of their lives. Just as Jesus did, we strive to connect with the least, the last, and the lost, offering hope and transformation.
The Bible encourages us through stories of Jesus’ ministry to just such people. I think of the Samaritan woman at the well (John 4). Jesus didn’t shy away from engaging with her, a woman marginalised by her gender, social standing, and past. He met her in her everyday life, offered her living water, and transformed her into an evangelist who brought her entire village to him. It’s a story that inspires us to break down barriers and engage with those on the fringes of society.
Maybe you think of Zacchaeus (Luke 19), the tax collector despised by his community. Jesus didn’t condemn him but instead invited himself to Zacchaeus’s home. This act of radical inclusion led to Zacchaeus’s repentance and a complete transformation of his life. It reminds us that no one is beyond the reach of God’s love and that even the most unlikely people can experience profound change.
These biblical narratives are living examples of how we’re called to engage in evangelism today. At Church Army, we want to emulate this approach in our work.

Street outreach: We’re on the frontlines, meeting people experiencing homelessness, addiction, and social isolation, offering practical support and sharing the hope of the Gospel.

Centres of Mission: We’re establishing vibrant hubs within communities, working alongside local people to address local needs and share the love of Christ.
Pioneering new forms of mission: We’re always looking for new and innovative ways to connect with people who are outside of the traditional church setting.

The New Wine Leadership Conference is where church leaders, staff teams, and volunteers from across the nation come together, experience renewal by the Holy Spirit and are sent out to be local churches changing nations.
