The New Wine Training Hub in Manchester is based at Saint Philips Chapel Street, which is a Resource Church planted in 2016 and is located in the heart of the vibrant city of Manchester. It is surrounded by universities, creative art studios, a thriving music scene and so much more. There are a number of rapidly growing churches and church plants across Greater Manchester and beyond that Saint Philips has links to.
Placements are offered at a number of churches across Greater Manchester; Saint Philips Chapel Street, St Chad’s Romiley, Sale, Chorlton, Macclesfield- do enquire for further information.
Teaching (8hrs/wk)
We have an exciting training programme filled with teaching and mission. You will be taught by a variety of experienced people from a range of backgrounds and contexts. There will be opportunities to work and serve ministries such as The Message Trust and more.
Placement (12-29.5hrs/wk)
Depending on your placement church, internships can look very different and the areas that you serve in, and the responsibilities that you hold will differ between each placement.
Internships can be offered in a number of areas including youth work, schools work, young adults, children’s work, worship, media, tech, outreach, administration and hospitality.
NWDY is a fantastic opportunity to both serve the placement church and be invested in through this time.
Cost
£1500 course fees, payable at the beginning of the course.
Accommodation
The placement churches are often able to offer rooms in shared houses or with families, either for free or a contribution towards rent and bills. DY students may find their own accommodation if preferred.
