Here at Church Army, we hope you’ve had a great summer; after lengthy periods of wet and windy weather across the country, it was good to finally see the sunshine and enjoy balmy evenings outside. Like us, we imagine many of you will have much to give thanks to God for as we look back over recent weeks.

Now, with the new school year upon us and the days getting shorter, pressures on families are increasing. Fuel prices have eased, but food inflation continues to present a significant challenge, particularly for low-income households. As we head into another winter, please pray for Church Army’s front-line teams living and working alongside some of the most broken and hurting people. Pray that they would be resourced and equipped to bring practical, emotional, and spiritual relief to families and communities and that the gospel message would bring hope and transformation to many lives.
