Church Planting Hubs

Specifically for the grassroots stream, New Wine and Myriad, together with local churches, are partnering to create a network of “New Wine Church Planting Hubs supported by Myriad” — places that equip and support leaders like you to start new churches that make disciples and change communities. 

New Wine and Myriad have come together and by combining our networks, experience, and resources, we’ve created something neither of us could offer alone: a joined-up, rooted, relational training journey for the next generation of church planters. 

What is a New Wine Church Planting Hub supported by Myriad?

Our Hubs bring together cohorts of leaders in a region for hands-on, community-based training.  These hubs offer a Learning Pathway for lay planters through a 2.5year programme, which includes in-person gatherings, mentoring and oversight. You won’t just learn about church planting — you’ll do it in the company of others who are on the same journey.

Each hub offers:

  • A directed journey — asking you the key questions at the right time to unlock wisdom for the way 
  • Mentorship — access to experienced planters who’ve been where you’re going 
  • Community — relationships with fellow planters that will sustain you for the long haul 
  • Strengthened Oversight – training for the church leader who will oversee your church plant but not lead it themselves  

Whether you’re a pioneer itching to start something new, or a pastor sensing God is nudging your church to plant — there’s a place for you in a Hub. 

We believe the best church planters are formed in community, not in isolation. Our Hubs are designed to be a safe, stretching, encouraging space where vision gets sharpened and faith gets strengthened.

Dorset and South Somerset, hosted by The Lantern Church, Wimborne. Starting October 2027
East Midlands, hosted at St John the Baptist Church, Clarendon Park, Leicester. Starting November 2026
Sale & Greater Manchester, hosted by St Marys Ashton on Mersey. Starting November 2026
Myriad Hubs which welcome applications from within the New Wine network
Bradford Area, hosted by Fountains Church in conjunction with the Bradford Episcopal Area Started July 2026 but new joiners welcome before end November 2026.
Shropshire, hosted at Telford Minster Starting March 2027
