About:
We welcome Doctors, First Aiders, HCAs, Nurse Practitioners and Nurses and Ambulance personnel** to join us as we work together alongside contractors, MK Medical, in a supportive multi-disciplinary team. We provide 24/7 medical care which is of a high standard delivered in a way which is compassionate and holistic. We see patients with a wide spectrum of clinical presentations, and welcome healthcare professionals from a range of clinical backgrounds and specialties. If you are a receptionist or medical administrator we’d love to have you on board too!
We know that doing the ‘day job’ on holiday is a big ask, so we welcome PT as well as FT applicants.
Please provide us with a brief overview of your current role and/or relevant past experience, NMC/GMC/HCPC numbers and copies of any relevant certificates.
Experience required:
Doctors will need a minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience.
Nurses need an active current registration with the UK NMC; minimum qualification RN level 1.
First Aiders need to provide details of a Community First Responders, St John’s or British Red Cross certificate, including expiry dates. Please note that applicants who don’t undertake regular duties with St John’s or the Red Cross may be considered on submission of details about either first aid or life experience.
There are a number of duties within the team that may require less experience than some of the full-time First Aid roles. If you’d like to find out more before applying, please contact the New Wine office on info@new-wine.org who will forward your enquiry to the Team Leaders.
*Full-time applicants will receive full catering provided for the week. Team tickets are £40. Part-time applicants won’t receive catering for the week. Team tickets are £124.50, half of a standard full-event ticket.
**We welcome applications from Ambulance personnel, however, please note that this will be a Medical Centre based role and all emergency calls/ambulance dispatching will be overseen by the MK Medical paramedics.
