All Saints’ Church, Brenchley is seeking an enthusiastic and faith-filled person to join our ministry team as a Family and Young People’s Worker, with the opportunity to serve as Chaplain to our local Church of England primary school.
At the heart of this role is a shared desire to know Jesus more deeply, to help others encounter Him, and to see families nurtured and encouraged in their walk with Christ. We long to grow the Kingdom of God in our parish by investing in children, young people, and their families — at church, at school, and in everyday life.
About the Role
Working alongside the Vicar and PCC, you will help shape and develop a growing ministry that places families at the centre of church life. You will encourage children and young people to explore faith, support parents and carers as the primary nurturers of faith, and strengthen the long-standing partnership between All Saints’ and Brenchley & Matfield CofE Primary School.
The school chaplaincy element of the role includes leading collective worship, supporting the school’s Christian vision, and offering a pastoral presence within the school community.

- Supporting families as they grow together in faith and discipleship
- Helping children and young people encounter Jesus through worship, teaching, and pastoral care
- Contributing to Sunday and mid-week activities, social events, and seasonal celebrations
- Serving the local primary school through collective worship, clubs, and pastoral support
- Building strong relationships with parents, carers, volunteers, and the wider community

- Has a deep love for Jesus and a desire to share the Gospel.
- Has a heart for children, young people, and families.
- Is able to build warm, trusting relationships across church and school
