St Francis Church is a welcoming, growing, multi-generational church at the heart of Valley Park. We are a diverse and Spirit-filled community with a simple vision: to be filled with God’s presence, formed as disciples, and sent with His love.

We are excited to be seeking a new Children and Families Minister to lead and grow our ministry among 0–11s and their families. This is a key role with a real opportunity to shape the future, building on strong existing foundations and helping us step into all that God is calling us to.

The Role

You will:

  • Lead and develop our children’s ministry (0–11s), helping children grow in faith and confidence in God
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with families, equipping them in discipleship at home
  • Inspire, grow, and lead a team of committed volunteers
  • Develop creative and outward-looking ways to connect with families in our community
  • Build on our strong links with the local church school

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Loves Jesus and has a heart for children and families
  • Is relational, encouraging, and able to build teams
  • Brings vision, creativity, and initiative
  • Is excited to grow something and not just maintain it
