Malmesbury Abbey is a place of worship that is 1351 years old. Our present Abbey is the new one and has just had its 900th birthday! The presenting incumbent is looking to retire And with the Diocese we are looking to appoint an interim oversight minister who will look after the vacancy. This is a two year post. There is a team of Retired PTO who will assist and a staffed office. It will offer the IOM the opportunity to lead in the vacancy with the team in an Abbey setting with a civic role in the Town and 7 congregation through the week with various Events as well.
