CHILDREN’S WORKER
Over recent years, we’ve seen encouraging growth in the number of children and young families connecting with us, both on Sundays and through our midweek activities. We believe there is a wonderful opportunity to build on this and are looking for a full-time Children’s Worker to join our team and help shape where our children’s ministry goes next.
St Gabriel’s is a warm, friendly and growing charismatic evangelical Anglican church in the heart of Greystones, Sheffield. We want to be a church where people of all ages encounter Jesus, grow as disciples and share the good news with those around us.
We’re looking for someone who loves Jesus, has a genuine passion for children and families, and can bring energy, creativity and fresh ideas to help us develop a sustainable, intentional and mission-focused children’s ministry where children can encounter Jesus, grow in faith and be encouraged to live as His disciples.
The role will include developing our Sunday children’s ministry, supporting and equipping our fantastic team of volunteers, overseeing our growing toddler group and seasonal outreach events, strengthening links with our local primary school, and pioneering new ways of connecting with children and families across Greystones. There will also be plenty of space to try new ideas and to shape where the ministry goes next.
