You would be joining a church that seeks to live out a vision of “revealing the heart of Jesus in the heart of our community” and we believe and trust that the growth in discipleship and numbers we are experiencing is only the beginning of what God has planned for us.
About the Role
Building on existing activities, including our Friday Hub and weekly Food Bank, you will develop a vision for sustainable social action that responds to local needs, builds relationships and enables people to flourish.
About You
You will be a committed practising Christian with leadership and pastoral skills, a passion for community engagement, and the ability to inspire volunteers, develop partnerships and turn vision into practical action.
This is an opportunity to combine Christian ministry and social action, helping reveal the heart of Jesus through practical care, relationships and community transformation.
The role has an occupational requirement for the postholder to be a practising Christian under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010. The successful applicant will be expected to participate actively in St Andrew’s Church and work within our Code of Conduct and the Evangelical Alliance Basis of Faith.
